Preservation Trades

SouthWay's third tenet is to promote training in master craftsmanship, essential to historic preservation, to increase the accessibility to quality historic trades within the profession and to expand the economic possibilities for interested parties. The inclusion of the preservation trades within SouthWay's mission was born from an experiential understanding of the loss of tradesman.  The goal is to expose and involve young people, those that are under-employed, and/or general contractors into a lucrative field that is full of beauty and cultural tradition.
