Patricia Rangel
Patrica Rangel is a storyteller, design professional, and educator. She earned a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Notre Dame; a master’s in teaching from the University of Portland; and a Master of Architecture at Georgia institute of Technology. She was a school administrator in Seattle Public Schools. During her twenty-plus-year career as an educator, she taught everything from pre-school to graduate school in places as far-reaching as Birmingham, AL; Fremantle, Australia; East Timor; and Seattle, WA. The intersection of her educational career, community engagement, and architectural training is historic preservation. She has presented on architectural history at conferences domestically and internationally and exhibited at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History in the ACCelerate Festival. Patrica joined The SouthWay Foundation out of Eupora, MS, in the fall of 2023 as a Program Manager to help lead grant writing and administration, collaborate with architects and engineers, and help clients strategically tell their stories.
